The Nordson TAH 161-236 (new part # 7701038) static mixing nozzle has 36 mixing elements and a 12.65 mm element diameter (.497 in). This mixer has a stepped tip making it easy for users to adjust bead size by simply cutting off the end of the tip.
The 160 static mixing nozzle is unique in that materials do not meet in the manifold before the mixer, eliminating the problem of manifold plugging and cleaning. Instead, the 161-236 mixer has valve manifolds that separately port the A and B materials directly into the mixer making the cleanup process a simple nozzle removal and manifold wipe.
