Tecbond 248 High Strength Construction Hot Melt Glue Slugs
Power Adhesives Tecbond 248 (Formerly Tackfix 248) is an acrylic-based adhesive developed to deliver professional-grade reliability in construction and product assembly environments. It is supplied in 1 3/4" (43mm) hot melt glue slugs for use with high-output industrial application equipment.
This clear adhesive provides exceptional adhesion to wood, fabric, leather, concrete, rubber, glass, ceramics, most metals, and difficult-to-bond plastics such as PVC and polycarbonate. High molten tack is maintained for approximately one minute, allowing accurate positioning of materials before compression, followed by an almost instantaneous set that supports efficient workflows and durable bond performance.
