Compact OptiMixers with Enhanced Flow Control
The Nordson 480 Series static mixers feature a patented OptiMixer design developed with proprietary flow simulation software for improved mixing in a shorter length. These mixers are compatible with large-volume cartridges, including 200 mL and larger EFD u-TAH® Universal, Side x Side, and 380 mL coaxial formats, supporting common mix ratios such as 1:1 and 2:1.
Each mixer has 8.7 mm elements available in configurations of 9 to 41 elements, with housing lengths from 7.4 cm to 20.6 cm. Inlet options include bell or integral nut, while outlets are available in stepped or barbed styles. The reduced length results in up to 30% less retained volume, minimizing material waste.
