Tecbond 425 High Tack Sprayable Hot Melt Glue Slugs
Power Adhesives Tecbond 425 is a polyolefin-based adhesive formulated to deliver consistent, professional reliability in spray applications. These hot melt glue slugs are supplied in a 1 3/4" (43mm) format and are engineered to provide the highest initial tack of any spray-grade adhesive in the Tecbond series, making them well suited for bonds exposed to high tension immediately after compression.
Designed primarily for porous substrates, the lower viscosity formulation promotes strong physical bonding on materials such as wood, concrete, fabric, and light gauge metal. The adhesive cools rapidly to help protect heat-sensitive substrates like foams and expanded polystyrene, while the spray pattern delivers broader, more uniform coverage than traditional bead application. Tecbond 425 is also approved to UL 2395 standards for securing thermal insulation in HVAC systems.
