Power Adhesives Tecbond 902B is a biodegradable, pressure-sensitive hot melt adhesive that comes in a convenient pillow form. Designed for both bead dispensing in bulk systems and spray dispensing with pneumatic applicators, Tecbond 902B delivers smooth, consistent flow while minimizing nozzle clogging and maintenance.

Biodegradable Properties

The Tecbond 902B biodegradable pressure sensitive adhesive is formulated from 45% bio-based materials and is designed for responsible disposal. It naturally starts to degrade after exposure to oxygen, UV light, and heat. After the polymer breaks down, microorganisms consume the remaining material, supporting a clean, environmentally safe end of life without the production of harmful waste. The adhesive meets leading environmental certifications, including EN13432, ASTM D6400, ASTM D6866, and ASTM D6954.

Because of its natural degradation process, the Tecbond 902B biodegradable PSA adhesive should remain in its original packaging until it is ready for use. It should also be stored away from direct sunlight and at temperatures below 86°F (30°C).
