Tecbond 440B Glue Slugs for Packaging & Assembly
Tecbond 440B is a biodegradable hot melt slug designed for both bead and spray application that gives manufacturers the flexibility to handle a wide range of packaging and product assembly needs.
Compatible with Power Adhesives Tec spray applicators and bulk glue systems, the 1-3/4" (43 mm) glue slugs offer an extended open time of up to six minutes for precise placement and adjustment.

A Biodegradable Option
Containing 45% bio-based content, Tecbond 440B meets ASTM D6400, EN13432, ASTM D6954, and ASTM D6866 recognized standards for industrial composting and biodegradability.
The adhesive breaks down naturally when exposed to oxygen, UV light, and heat. As the polymer base decomposes, microorganisms consume the remaining material without creating microplastics or other harmful residues.
For best results, the Tecbond 440B biodegradable hot glue slugs should remain in their original sealed packaging until ready to be used. They should be stored away from direct sunlight as well as at temperatures below 86°F (30°C).
