The 3M DP105 epoxy is a clear, fast setting structural adhesive. What sets the DP105 aside from the rest of the 3M DP Epoxy series is that it is clear AND flexible.

The flexibility of the DP105 is the key here and valuable when bonding different types of substrates together. When different substrates heat and cool (wood and metal for example) they will expand and shrink differently. A rigid epoxy will not be able to stretch with these differing expansions/contractions and the bond will be compromised.
The 3M DP105 offers a flexible bond so when the surfaces begin to pull away from each other, the adhesive can stretch and the bond remains in tact.
3M DP105 Bond Characteristics
Aside from being clear and flexible, the DP105 is a 1:1 adhesive with a 4 minute work life. Handling strength is reached in 20 minutes but full cure is not reached for up to 48 hours.
